Associate Fire Safety Consultant

An Associate Fire Safety Consultant is required to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team within a construction and property consultancy in Birmingham. The role involves working with a diverse range of clients across both the public and private sectors.\n\nAs an Associate Fire Safety Consultant, you will have experience in delivering at least three of the following services:\n\n * Fire Compartmentation Surveys\n\n * Fire Engineering Services\n\n * Fire Remediation Project / Programme Management\n\n * Fire Risk Assessments\n\n * Building Safety Management / Building Safety Act compliance\n\nAssociate Fire Safety Consultant responsibilities include:\n\n * Supporting and managing a team of Fire Safety Consultants.\n\n * Providing advice to the Board.\n\n * Assisting in the completion of bids and tenders.\n\n * Ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance to clients.\n\n * Conducting site visits to deliver fire consultancy services.\n\n * Providing fire safety advice, guidance and training to clients\n\n * Liaising with enforcing authorities.\n\n * Advising on fire safety standards, legislation and best practice.\n\n * Developing the Fire Consultancy Service and assist in financial reporting.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Minimum Level 5 qualification in a fire-related discipline.\n\n * An engineering related degree would be advantageous but is not essential.\n\nExperience:\n\n * Track record in leading and delivering complex fire safety projects.\n\n * Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.\n\n * Proven experience in successful line management and development of team members.\n\n * Client-facing experience, with the ability to influence and advise at a senior level.\n\n * Experience in FRAEW would be advantageous.\n\nThis Associate Fire Safety Consultant role offers hybrid and flexible working.
