Class 1 Driver / Yard Operative – Food Manufacturing\nColchester\n£15.77 per hour\nPin Point Recruitment is currently seeking a Class 1 (C+E) Driver / Yard Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This is a varied role offering a balance between driving and on-site yard duties, ideal for candidates who do not want to be on the road full-time.\nThe Role\n * Driving Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections\n * Supporting operations within the yard when not driving\n * Loading and unloading vehicles\n * General yard duties as required\n * Operating a forklift truck (full in-house training will be provided)\nWorking Hours\n * Variable hours contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week\n * Drivers are currently working around 48–54 hours per week, depending on workload\n * Hours and days will fit in with the needs of the business\n * Weekend work will be required\n * Day work only – no overnight stays\n * When out driving, you can expect to be off-site for 8–10 hours\nRequirements\n * Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence\n * No more than 6 penalty points\n * Flexible and reliable approach to work\n * Willingness to undertake both driving and yard-based duties\n * Positive attitude and team player\nWhat’s on Offer\n * Full in-house forklift (FLT) training\n * Stable, long-term opportunity within a food manufacturing environment\n * A varied role combining driving and yard work\n * Support from an experienced recruitment team\nWho This Role Suits\nThis opportunity could be ideal for a newly qualified Class 1 driver looking to gain valuable experience, as well as experienced drivers seeking a more varied position.\nIf you are interested in this role, please apply today or contact Kirstie for more information
