Classroom Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Classroom / Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school clients teams. The successful candidate will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged and continue learning in a safe and positive environment.\n\nThis role is ideal for individuals considering a career in education, teaching, youth work, or those with experience working with young people.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Supervise whole classes during teacher absence using pre-prepared lesson materials\n\n * Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies\n\n * Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work\n\n * Support students’ learning and wellbeing\n\n * Record attendance and report any concerns to relevant staff\n\n * Assist with general school duties where required\n\nPerson Specification:\n\nEssential:\n\n * Educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths) or equivalent\n\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n\n * Ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently\n\n * Organised, adaptable, and professional approach\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\nYou must have experience working with young people in the UK to be considered for this role
