Enforcement Agent (Certificated and Trainee roles available)\n\nLocation:Cambridge\n\nSalary: £30,000 basic + uncapped commission OTE £50-80K) and company vehicle\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Certificated Enforcement Agent, you will be responsible for attending residential and commercial addresses to enforce court orders and recover outstanding debts on behalf of local authority clients.\n\nYour duties will include:\n\n * Visiting addresses within your allocated area to execute warrants and court orders\n\n * Assessing debtors’ financial circumstances and gathering relevant income information\n\n * Assisting debtors with completing financial documentation where required\n\n * Securing payment in full or negotiating realistic repayment arrangements\n\n * Conducting professional and discreet enquiries when debtors have vacated properties\n\n * Identifying vulnerable individuals and referring them to appropriate support services\n\n * Liaising with internal teams regarding active cases and case updates\n\n * Managing and recording payments, receipts, and related documentation accurately\n\n * Completing reports and paperwork following each visit\n\n * Taking control of goods and arranging removals where legally necessary\n\n * Ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, health & safety procedures, and national enforcement standards\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for individuals who are professional, motivated, and capable of handling challenging situations with confidence and respect.\n\nYou will ideally be:\n\n * A strong communicator with the ability to engage with people from all backgrounds\n\n * Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field\n\n * Calm under pressure with excellent conflict-management skills\n\n * Professional, approachable, and respectful in your conduct\n\n * Empathetic and able to recognise vulnerability and sensitive circumstances\n\n * Organised with strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills\n\nEssential Requirements (Certificated)\n\n * Level 2 Taking Control of Goods Qualification\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of two years\n\nRequirements (Trainee role)\n\n * Debt recovery (desirable).\n\n * Working within a regulated environment.\n\n * Conflict resolution and excellent communication skills.\n\n * Calm and confident in dealing with the general public in a face to face environment.\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of two years\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Excellent earning potential\n\n * Regular case allocation within your local area\n\n * Flexible and independent field-based working\n\n * Support from experienced operational teams\n\n * Opportunity to work within a respected and ethical enforcement environment
