You'll gain exposure beyond core reporting, working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to support decision-making and drive performance.\n\nYou will join a supportive and forward-thinking finance team, with the chance to take ownership of key processes, contribute to improvements, and play a meaningful role in enhancing financial reporting and controls. It's an ideal next step for someone looking to build a long-term career within industry.\n\nThe Role:\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProducing monthly management accounts alongside clear and informative reporting outputs\nTaking responsibility for the month-end close cycle, including posting journals and accounting for accruals and prepayments\nPerforming thorough reconciliations across the balance sheet, covering areas such as cash, intercompany balances, and control accounts\nProviding detailed analysis of financial performance, highlighting key movements and trends for senior stakeholders\nAssisting in the preparation of budgets and ongoing forecast updates\nOverseeing VAT processes, including reconciliation work and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations\nSupporting both internal and external audit requirements, including preparation of supporting documentation\nReviewing and resolving historic financial issues to improve accuracy and strengthen controls\nContributing to ongoing improvements in finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities\nCollaborating with operational teams to enhance financial understanding, controls, and reporting quality\n\nSkills & Requirements:\n\nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)\nExperience working in a varied and hands-on finance environment, or currently in practice and seeking a move into industry\nStrong technical grounding in management accounting and financial reporting\nAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data\nProven experience in handling detailed reconciliations and resolving discrepancies\nExcellent attention to detail with strong organisational capability\nConfidence engaging with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge\nA proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on continuous improvement\nThe ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively\n\nBenefits & Package:\n\nCompetitive salary \nClear opportunities for career development\nStrong exposure to senior stakeholders and commercial decision-making\nSupportive and collaborative working environment\nHybrid working\nAttractive benefits package\nTo apply for the Management Accountant position, please click on the apply now button and your CV will be sent directly to the responsible recruiter.
