Role: MFL Teacher\nLocation: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire\nContract: Part-Time / Full-time – Temporary to Permanent\nStart Date: September 2026\nSalary: £29,344 – £44,919 (MPS/UPS)\n\nAbout the School\nThis thriving secondary school is passionate about inspiring curiosity, ambition, and a love of learning in every student. Students are encouraged to explore different cultures, broaden their global awareness, and develop a lifelong appreciation for languages.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver dynamic and engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).\nInspire students through creative teaching that develops confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the target language.\nPlan and deliver a broad and stimulating curriculum that encourages cultural understanding and effective communication skills.\nFoster a passion for language learning by making lessons interactive, relevant, and enjoyable.\nSupport students of all abilities to achieve their full potential through differentiated and inclusive teaching.\nAssess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to drive achievement.\nCreate a positive and purposeful classroom environment where high expectations and excellent behaviour are embedded.\nContribute to extracurricular opportunities such as language clubs, cultural trips, themed events, or enrichment activities.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.\nCandidate Profile\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.\nExperience teaching MFL at secondary level is preferred.\nStrong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for language learning and cultural education.\nAbility to inspire, challenge, and motivate young learners of all abilities.\nExcellent classroom management and communication skills.\nPassion for creating engaging lessons that spark curiosity and independent learning.\nA collaborative and proactive approach to school life and professional development.\nHolds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school where your passion for languages can truly make an impact.
