\n\nRole Responsibilities\n

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Support one pupil or a small group (maximum six)
  • \n
  • Assist the classroom teacher during lessons
  • \n
  • Report on progress and concerns, liaising with school staff
  • \n
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips
  • \n
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • \n
  • Set work and mark where appropriate
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships and support learning outcomes
  • \n
\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates who have:

    \n
  • \nStrong basic education (minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths)
  • \n
  • \nIT skills to support learning
  • \n
  • \nExperience in a similar role (teaching assistant experience is desirable)
  • \n
  • \nExperience supporting pupils with SEMH in an educational setting
  • \n
  • Ability to take responsibility for areas such as food hygiene, forest school, or activities
  • \n
  • Experience in behaviour management
  • \n
  • Commitment to professional development
  • \n
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • \n
\n\nWorking Conditions\n

This is a 12-month fixed term, part-time position, available for 2 days a week (Wednesday and Friday). The salary ranges from £21,257.48 to £23,232.69 (pro rata: £12,754.48 to £13,938.62).
