Role Description We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role will manage the technical delivery of larger projects.


The role primarily involves:

  • Supervision of onsite technical delivery, providing briefings to freelance technicians and local crew.
  • Overseeing the specification and pre-production elements of the company’s live event projects, preparation of kit lists, CAD plans & RAMS.
  • Assisting with the efficient and profitable running of our internal operations, including our rental warehouse, scenic workshop and technical department.
  • Development and maintenance of internal policies, standards and procedures on both a strategic and practical level.
  • Research and recommendation of new technology to expand and enhance our service offering.


About You:

  • Proven track record and a minimum of four year’s experience in an operations/technical environment within the live events / production industry.
  • Good working knowledge of full range of current lighting, audio, video &rigging equipment and practices.
  • Commercially astute with a solid understanding of profitability, margin protection, cost control.
  • Ability to manage across all levels in a calm and professional manner
  • Strong IT knowledge preferably with a working knowledge of Vectorworks and equipment rental software (Flex Rental Solutions)
  • Ability to write a proposal and express an idea or concept to a client or industry partner
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual capable of working on their own initiative in a constantly changing and pressurised environment and fast developing company.
  • Confident in operating at a strategic as well as a practical level;  presenting new ideas, improvements and efficiencies to Heads of Departments.
  • Ability to travel within UK, often at short notice.


Working Hours:

The role is based at our London office/warehouse in Bellingham, SE6 3BX and is in person only. 

Regular working hours are 09:30 – 18:00, Monday – Friday. 

Due to the nature of the events industry, it is expected that this role will involve as travel in and around London on a routine basis, as well as regular work outside of standard hours for whichovertime, time off in lieu (TOIL) or flexi-time hours will be given depending on your role.

  • Salary range £35,000-£45,000
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
