Technical Project Manager (Technology Migration)

Job Profile - Technical Project Manager \n\nA strong and self-motivated Technical Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of technical releases and oversee migration activities from the current ("as-is") technologies to new ("to-be") solutions. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient outcomes on time, within scope and budget, while managing risk and dependencies.\n\nEssential Skills\n\nProven track record of delivering complex deliverables on schedule working with a variety of stakeholders\nManage scope and schedule; drive delivery to agreed outcomes\nHands-on experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering complex technology initiatives\nDemonstrable track record supporting migrations from existing platforms to new technologies (planning through cutover and stabilisation)\nExperience working across multiple technology platforms (e.g., cloud, on-prem, SaaS, data platforms, integration/middleware)\nDelivery experience in regulated or large enterprise environments with strong governance and controls\nPlan and execute migrations (e.g., legacy to cloud, data centre exit, platform upgrades, application modernisation)\nEnsure operational readiness: monitoring, support model, runbooks, SLAs, and handover to BAU\nExperience working on Waterfall and Agile methodologies\nStrong leadership skills, confident, assertive, and able to work under pressure\nStrong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies and integration workflows\nRisk, issue and dependency management\nPositive and proactive team player working as part of a large programme \n\nDesirable skills\n\nExperience of working with global teams\n\nExperience of supporting technology migrations\n\nGCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
